Cover Supervisor - Mainstream Secondary School (Hackney)
 Pay: £100 - £140 per day (depending on experience)
 Location: Hackney, East London
 Contract: Flexible - Full-time or Part-time options available

 A vibrant mainstream secondary school in Hackney is seeking an experienced and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong classroom management skills and a solid understanding of school life.

The Role:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher

Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure students remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school's policies

Support students in their learning and uphold high expectations of conduct and achievement

Ensure safeguarding and welfare policies are followed at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role

Confident in managing behaviour and maintaining classroom control

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to different classes and subjects
