Full-Time Cover Supervisor – Secondary School in Farnborough
GSL Education is proud to partner with a well-regarded secondary school in Farnborough to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. This full-time, term-time position is ideal for individuals passionate about education and considering a future teaching career.
Position Details:
Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:15 am – 3:15 pm
Contract: Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Your primary duties will include:
Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across various subjects.
Maintaining high standards of behaviour in accordance with school policies.
Ensuring students remain engaged and on task during lessons.
Providing support to students to facilitate their learning and development.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of GCSE level qualifications, with Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy skills.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A positive and flexible attitude with the ability to use initiative.
Experience working with young people in a professional setting is desirable but not essential.
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.
