Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor seeking a rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and supportive secondary school environment? We are currently recruiting for a full-time Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes on a temp-to-perm basis from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with prior UK-based Cover Supervisor experience-either general or within a subject specialism-who are looking to develop their career within education. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre-set work across a range of subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising classes during teacher absences and delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects
Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
Supporting students with tasks and encouraging positive learning habits
Ensuring a safe and productive classroom environment
Liaising with teaching staff and school leadership to provide feedback and maintain high standardsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a UK secondary school setting
Confidence managing a classroom environment independently
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive and professional approach to supporting student learning
Flexibility and reliability, with full-time availabilityEssential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
