Whether you're an experienced TA, HLTA, recent graduate considering a career in teaching, or someone with a passion for working with young people — this is your chance to make a real impact in the classroom.
As a cover supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring pupils stay on task with pre-set lessons. There’s no planning or marking involved, giving you the unique opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience without the added workload.
Key responsibilities
• Supervising pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects
• Managing behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
• Building positive relationships with pupils
• Encouraging pupil engagement and motivation
This role is ideal for confident, calm, and professional individuals with strong behaviour management skills who enjoy a challenge. Experience as a TA or HLTA is beneficial but not essential.
