Job Description
Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in education? A welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Telford is looking to appoint a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals considering a future in teaching or those with experience working with young people in educational or coaching settings.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supervising students during lessons, breaks, and transitions
Providing support and encouragement to students across key stages
Reporting back on lesson outcomes and student engagement
What we're looking for:
Previous experience working with secondary-aged students
Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
Flexible and able to adapt quickly to different subject areas
A positive attitude and a proactive approach to school life
A desire to support and inspire young learners
