We are delighted to be recruiting an enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisor to join the team at a thriving secondary school in the Totton area of Southampton. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring learning continues effectively in the absence of teaching staff. You will be delivering pre-prepared lessons across a broad range of subjects—including PE. A keen interest in sport or coaching experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task
Support students with work set by the teacher or head of department
Provide clear feedback to teachers on student behaviour, engagement, and progress
Maintain a calm and purposeful classroom environment
Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young people in accordance with school policies
We are looking for someone who:
Is motivated, reliable, and confident working with secondary school pupils
