Tradewind Recruitment are working with outstanding secondary school based in Ealing who are looking to expand their teams of Cover Supervisors for the upcoming academic year. Role Overview - Cover Supervisor:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of the regular class teacher. All work is pre-set, and your main role will be to ensure students remain on task, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and provide general support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Maintain a calm and focused learning environment
Ensure students complete tasks and adhere to school behaviour policies
Report any issues or concerns to relevant teaching staff or department leads
Support students in their learning and development as needed
Requirements:
A strong interest in working with young people in an educational setting
Previous experience in schools or working with young people is desirable
Confident classroom presence and good communication skills
Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to different subjects and age groups
A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
Contract Details:
Location: Ealing, West London
Start Date: Ongoing opportunities throughout the academic year
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm (full-time); part-time roles also available
Pay: £100-£120 per day (dependent on experience)
