About the school
We are currently seeking a confident and enthusiastic cover supervisor to join a thriving secondary school in Harrow, North West London. This part-time, temporary role is ideal for someone looking to gain further experience in the classroom—whether you're a qualified teacher seeking flexibility, an ECT building confidence, or a TA ready to take the next step in your career.

Key responsibilities
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 (and occasionally KS4) in the absence of the regular class teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task throughout the day
• Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons
Ideal candidate
• Confident and organised with excellent communication skills
• Experience working in a secondary school setting (as a TA, HLTA, ECT or teacher)
• Able to manage behaviour effectively and build positive rapport with pupils
• QTS is desirable but not essential
