Teach Now is currently recruiting a part-time Cover Supervisor to work in a welcoming and ambitious secondary school located in Dacorum, Hertfordshire, starting this September 2025. The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: • Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 to 5 in the absence of the regular teacher • Ensure pupils remain focused and on task during lessons • Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage behaviour in line with the school’s policy • Report back to relevant staff on student progress or concerns • Be flexible and confident across a variety of subjects and year groups Ideal Candidates Will Have • Previous experience with children or young people (e.g. coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work) • A calm, confident presence in the classroom • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills • The ability to adapt quickly and follow instructions • A positive, professional attitude and strong team spirit This role offers fantastic exposure to secondary education and the chance to become a valued part of a collaborative and supportive school community.
