Salary: Up to £110 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated and dependable Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant schools in the Rotherham area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for working with young people and a desire to gain valuable classroom experience.
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classroom activities during teacher absences, ensuring a focused and respectful learning environment. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity in education and supporting pupils to stay engaged with their learning.
Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:
Deliver pre-set lesson materials across a variety of subjects.
Supervise students and promote positive behaviour.
Assist pupils in understanding tasks when necessary.
Record and report any incidents or academic progress.
Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable.
Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
Ability to adapt to different classrooms and situations.
A proactive and reliable approach to school support.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
