🏫 The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment. It's a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop classroom management skills, and make a real impact.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising classes across a range of subjects
Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring pupils stay on task
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
Supporting the wider school team as needed
✅ Ideal Candidates:
Confident communicators with a proactive attitude
Experience working with young people (in schools, youth work, coaching, etc.)
Graduates considering a career in teaching
Teaching Assistants or Learning Mentors looking to step up
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
