Are you enthusiastic about education and looking to gain valuable classroom experience? GSL Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Worksop. About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead pre-prepared lessons during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning. You will help maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning atmosphere across a variety of subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise full classes in the absence of a regular classroom teacher
Deliver and manage pre-set lesson materials
Maintain classroom order and ensure pupils follow school expectations
Manage behaviour effectively and encourage student participation
Record attendance and report on pupil engagement
Provide support and guidance to students where needed

Experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Confidence to lead secondary-aged pupils independently
A flexible, proactive, and reliable approach
