The role of a Cover Supervisor includes:
Delivering pre-prepared lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of a teacher
Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment
Encouraging student participation and ensuring lessons stay on track
Adapting to different year groups and subject areas within the school
Providing support and guidance to students during their learning
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
CACHE Level 2/3 qualification OR at least 6 months classroom experience
Confidence and resilience to lead classes of students aged 11–16
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Flexibility to work across different departments and year groups
