Do you have the confidence to guide and support pupils while delivering engaging PSHE lessons in a safe and inclusive environment?
We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our specialist SEND school in Redhill. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to supporting children and young people with diverse needs.
The Role
* Deliver pre-planned PSHE lessons to small groups of SEND pupils, ensuring activities are accessible, inclusive, and engaging.
* Supervise classes during teacher absence, maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Provide pastoral care, encouraging independence, resilience, and social development.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, promoting respect and mutual understanding.
* Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and support assistants to ensure continuity of learning.
About You
* Experience working with young people, ideally in an SEND setting.
* Confidence in leading groups and delivering set lesson plans.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic school environment.
