Cover Supervisors Needed - Taunton & Bridgwater
Are you confident, reliable, and passionate about working with young people? Prospero Teaching is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Taunton and Bridgwater.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, whether you're considering a career in teaching or simply enjoy working in a school environment.
About the Role:
Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Support students with their learning and engagement
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Pay: £100-£130 per day (dependent on experience and pay type - PAYE or Umbrella)What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (e.g. schools, youth work, coaching, tutoring)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confidence and adaptability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsRequirements:
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
At least two child-based references
