Cover Supervisor – Full Time – Long Term – Mainstream Secondary School – South London
We are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to join our thriving mainstream secondary school in South London. This is a Full Time, Long Term role running Monday to Friday, ideal for candidates who are passionate about education and looking to progress in their career.
As a Cover Supervisor in our South London based secondary school, you will take on a vital role in supporting students when teaching staff are absent. We welcome applicants who have worked as a Cover Supervisor before, or who bring strong education-based experience with a proven ability in behaviour management.
Daily responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor include:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in a secondary school environment.

Supervising classes and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
*
Managing behaviour in line with school policies.
*
Encouraging a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
*
Supervising students at break and lunchtime when required.
*
Recording attendance and feeding back to teachers and senior staff.
*
Supporting the smooth running of the school through additional administrative tasks.
