Contract: Full-time / Part-time, Term-time only

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a thriving secondary school in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and supporting their learning in the classroom.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher.
Deliver pre-prepared work to students and ensure lessons run smoothly.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support students to engage positively with their learning.
Provide assistance with administrative tasks when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Confident, resilient, and able to engage with young people.
Able to manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
Flexible, well-organised, and able to use their initiative.
Ideally experienced working with young people in an educational setting (though training will be provided).
This role would suit someone considering a career in teaching or looking to gain further experience in education.
