Academics are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work across a number of excellent schools in the Cardiff area from October 2025. This would be a full time role working as general cover throughout different schools so would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking for variety in their work.
As a cover supervisor with Academics, you will be expected to:
Have experience working with children - this could be coaching, volunteering, mentoring, tutoring, or something similar
Manage each class assigned to you in the absence of the subject teacher (all work to be provided)
Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
Follow lesson plans, and understand classroom timetables and break time rotas
Comply with school policies and procedures in realtion to safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting any issues to the appropriate member of staff
