Veritas Education is currently seeking confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support our partner schools in the Castleford area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, whether you're a recent graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced educator.
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the classroom teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
Support students in their learning and maintain high standards of safeguarding.
Work across a range of subjects and year groups in secondary settings.
Requirements:
A degree or relevant experience working with young people.
Strong classroom management skills.
A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Availability for flexible work across the week.
