Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and well-structured secondary school in the Corby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience-perfect for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or anyone passionate about supporting young people.
About the Role:
Supervising lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Delivering pre-prepared work to students and ensuring they stay on task
Managing behaviour in accordance with the school's policies
Encouraging a positive and focused classroom environment
Full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting (desirable but not essential)
Be confident in leading a classroom and managing behaviour effectively
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be reliable, flexible, and calm under pressure
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
