Experienced Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – Southwark
Start: After October Half Term | Contract: Long-term and short-term opportunities available
Milk Education is seeking an experienced and confident Cover Supervisor to join a thriving and supportive Secondary School in Southwark. Role Overview
As an experienced Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor
Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 during teacher absence.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on task.
Uphold high standards of behaviour and follow school behaviour management policies.
Support students’ learning, progress, and wellbeing as required.
Collaborate effectively with teaching and support staff to maintain a consistent learning environment.
About You as a Cover Supervisor
Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational role within a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach to supporting pupils and staff.
