Are you confident, organised, and passionate about inspiring young minds? A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in education — whether you’re an aspiring teacher, recent graduate, or experienced classroom practitioner — to gain invaluable experience in a supportive school environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students stay engaged and on task.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4.
Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
Provide feedback on lesson progress to teaching staff.
Support the wider school community by assisting with learning activities and school events when needed.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with young people in a school or youth setting (paid or voluntary).
Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
A calm, confident, and professional approach to classroom supervision.
A genuine passion for supporting young people’s learning and development.
