GSL Education Manchester is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Oldham to recruit a dedicated Cover Supervisor for a full-time role starting September 2025. About the Role:
You will step into classrooms during teacher absences to deliver pre-prepared work, ensuring students remain focused and on-task. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent classroom management, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during teacher absence
Deliver pre-set work and maintain learning standards
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Support students with their learning when needed
Provide feedback to subject teachers on lesson outcomes

Previous experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
