Location: South Liverpool Secondary Schools

Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: £95 - £115 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in South Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for graduates or experienced school staff who enjoy working with young people and supporting learning across a range of subjects.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering pre-prepared lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay on task.
Supporting pupils to complete work to the best of their ability.
Assisting teaching staff with administrative or pastoral duties when required.
This role is perfect for individuals considering a career in teaching, or for those with experience in youth work, coaching, or tutoring who are seeking a rewarding school-based position.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A degree or equivalent qualification
An enhanced Child Only DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Child Experience E.g. youth work, coaching, tutoring
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A positive attitude and the ability to build relationships with students.
Flexibility and enthusiasm for working across a variety of subjects.
