Cover Supervisors / Instructors - Southampton
Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting young learners in Southampton? Academics are currently seeking Cover Supervisors / Instructors to work across a range of fantastic local Southampton primary schools. We have a variety of roles available, including daily supply, short-term and long-term contracts, as well as permanent Primary Teacher positions.
These opportunities are perfect for those considering a career as a Primary Teacher or for individuals with classroom experience looking for flexible, rewarding work. You'll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring pupils remain engaged in the absence of the regular Primary Teacher.
Whether you have previous teaching experience or are exploring the route to becoming a Primary Teacher, we can offer roles across all primary year groups and key stages to suit your background and availability. Pay starts from £100 per day, with opportunities to progress as you gain experience and take on longer-term placements.
To be considered, you will need a UK-recognised degree (or equivalent with proof) and some relevant experience working with children or young people. You must also hold an existing DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one through Academics.
