Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work in education, whether on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. You will be working within a variety of partnership schools, gaining valuable experience in different educational settings.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects to KS3 and KS4 students
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Ensure a positive and productive learning environment
Support students in completing tasks set by the class teacher
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings
Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student welfare at all timesRequirements

Experience working with young people (in a school or similar setting)
Strong classroom management skills and confidence leading a class
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and willingness to work in different schools
A proactive and professional approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
