This thriving secondary school in WN4 is looking for dedicated Cover Teachers to support the Humanities and STEM departments. This is an exciting opportunity to step into the classroom, deliver engaging lessons, and make a real difference in pupils’ learning journeys.
📍 Location: WN4
💰 Daily rate: £90 – £150
🎓 Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
As a Cover Teacher, you will:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across KS3 and KS4
Provide clear instruction and ensure smooth classroom management
Support pupils in understanding and achieving their lesson objectives
Maintain a calm, productive, and inclusive classroom environment
Uphold school policies and provide feedback to teaching staff after lessonsWhat We’re Looking For:
✔️ Experience teaching or supporting secondary-aged pupils
✔️ Strong subject knowledge in Humanities (History, Geography, RS, English Literature) or STEM
✔️ Confidence in leading a class and following lesson plans
✔️ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
✔️ Two recent education-based references
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
✔️ A positive, professional, and proactive approach
