Qualified High School Cover Teacher - Leeds | September Start
Veritas Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Cover Teacher for secondary schools across Leeds, starting September 2025. This is a great opportunity to work flexibly while gaining experience in a range of local schools.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and managing classroom behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher. The ability to build rapport with students and maintain a productive learning environment is essential.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching or covering in UK secondary schools (minimum 3 months)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Based in Leeds or within a short commute
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through Veritas)
