TeacherActive are looking for a Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience for a secondary PRU in Wolverhampton. It is imperative the applicants have recent experience of working as a Cover Teacher and have experience working within a PRU setting and teaching learners with SEMH.
The most ideal Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience will confidently step in when a teacher is absent, help pupils to complete pre-prepared exercises. As a Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience you will also be responsible for maintaining a harmonious classroom with limited disruptions and ensuring that pupils are motivated to complete their work.
As a Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience, you will be required:
To create a structured environment for pupils to complete learning in line with all subjects across curriculum activities across KS3 and KS4, in the absence of their teacher.
To deliver high-quality education in the absence of the regular teacher.
To maintain order and managing classroom behaviour effectively.
To oversea a class of students and ensuring they complete pre-set work.
To motivate and engage students using creative methods and resources.
To adhere to school policies and perform school duties in accordance with the school's aims and teaching standards.
These responsibilities ensure continuity of learning and a positive classroom environment.
