CPCS Vehicle Marshal - Retford DN22 - Prison Project
Are you a skilled and responsible CPCS Vehicle Marshal looking for a rewarding opportunity in Retford? Join our dynamic team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of personnel on our construction site. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals with the necessary qualifications to join our team as a Traffic Marshal.
Must also be willing to go through a vetting process to allow you on site
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct and manage the flow of traffic on the construction site, ensuring the safety of workers, visitors, and the general public.
* Control access to designated areas and enforce site-specific traffic management plans.
* Assist in the coordination of vehicle movements, including deliveries, collections, and site machinery.
* Communicate effectively with drivers and site personnel to ensure a safe working environment.
* Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Report any incidents, near misses, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
* CPCS Vehicle Marshal card is essential.
* Proven experience as a Traffic Marshal or Vehicle Marshal in a construction or similar environment.
* Sound understanding of traffic management regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
