Job Description
TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for a Crane Maintenance Technician to join one of our external clients located in South Shields. This is an excellent opportunity offering a temp-to-perm based position, working 07:00 – 15:30 with additional overtime available.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and repair the company’s fleet to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
* Carry out planned maintenance schedules as well as reactive repairs.
* Work both at the depot and on-site (field-based) depending on operational demand (company van provided).
* Keep accurate service and repair records.
Requirements
* Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial vehicles (HGV experience preferred).
* Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills for both mechanical and electrical faults.
* Full UK driving licence (essential for field-based work).
