Credit Controller
Location: Mansfield
Salary: £28,000 + Bonus
Hours: Mon–Thurs 8.30am–5pm, Fri 9am–3pm (1 in 5 Fridays until 5pm)
On-site | Parking available
The Role
An established manufacturing company in Mansfield is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their friendly finance team. This is a hands-on role combining credit control and finance administration, ideal for someone who enjoys a busy, varied workload and is confident using new systems as the business transitions to updated software.
Key Responsibilities

Manage cash collection and reduce aged debt across multiple ledgers
*
Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to resolve queries
*
Process daily invoicing, post and allocate payments, and issue credits
*
Load invoices onto customer portals and maintain master data
*
Review and update credit limits and payment terms
*
Support month-end close routines and provide cover within the finance team
*
Contribute to process improvements during system changes

Proven background in Credit Control within a fast-paced finance environment

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*
Tech-savvy and confident learning new software
*
Results-driven and proactive in resolving issues
