Credit Controller | £27,000 - £30,000 | Wigan | High-growth SME | Broad and varied role
Axon Moore delighted to be partnering with a high-growth SME in Wigan to recruit an experienced and organised Credit Controller with a customer-centred approach to take on a broad role involving account management, proactive chasing and up-selling where possible. This is a permanent, office-based role boasting a tremendous working culture and is best suited to a chatty and outgoing individual seeking job security and a down-to-earth working environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
Proactively chasing customers for overdue invoices via telephone and email
Customer query resolution
Arranging and negotiating payment plans where necessary
Building and maintaining positive customer relationships through excellent communication
Proactively calling existing and prospective customers to promote products/services and secure sales
Recording and updating customer information accurately in the system
Working with the wider team to achieve individual and company targets
Supporting general office and administrative duties as required
Required Experience and Skills:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills (especially verbal)
High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
Good IT and MS Excel skills
Hard-working, self-motivated and driven by success
Flexibility to work the occasional Saturday on a fair rota-basis
