Overview
Nationwide Vehicle Assistance are seeking to employ a meticulous and proactive Credit Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the company's credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while fostering positive relationships with clients. This position requires a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to assess creditworthiness and manage accounts effectively.

Principle accountabilities or main tasks:
- Keeping Bad Debt to minimum
- Tailored debt chasing according to customer group
- Liaise with sales Account Managers regarding overdue/disputed accounts
- Statement sending to customers in various formats
- To create new client accounts and set up onto system Banking and cash
allocation onto system when required
- Send copy of customer invoices out
- Maintain Credit Card receipts – Reconciliation and allocations
- Improve on customer data on accounting system for reporting purposes
- Provide any ad-hoc support for other team members
Personal Specification:
- At least 1 years’ credit control experience
- Strong analytic, numeric skills and advanced excel skills
- Persistence and tenacity, assertiveness without being aggressive, ability to build
relationships with clients
- Able to prioritise workload and demonstrate flexibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is a real team player with great work ethics
- Someone who takes pride in their own work and has a positive attitude
- A person that takes initiative in improving processes
