Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately processing a high volume of sales invoices
*
Allocating incoming payments from customers
*
Investigating any discrepancies or payment issues
*
Managing a wide portfolio of customer accounts, maintaining regular contact via phone and email to ensure prompt resolution of outstanding debts
*
Performing core credit control duties, ensuring all receivables are well-maintained and up to date
*
Working closely with internal operations teams to resolve account queries
*
Supporting through month-end tasks
*
Handling a variety of finance-related tasks as needed to support the wider finance team.
Skills/Experience Required:
*
Previous experience in a similar credit control/accounts receivable role
*
Proficiency with different accountancy systems – Sage experience is beneficial.
*
Attention to detail communication skills
*
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
