Job Description

We’re working with a leading Drug and Alcohol Charity who are looking for an experienced Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals involved in the criminal justice system who are struggling with substance misuse. Key Responsibilities: * Work directly with clients in custody and the community to support recovery from drug and alcohol misuse. * Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop recovery plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions. * Liaise with Probation, Police, Prisons, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to care. * Support harm reduction initiatives and promote safer substance use practices. * Maintain accurate case notes and ensure all safeguarding concerns are appropriately managed. * Motivate and empower service users to engage in treatment and achieve positive outcomes. Requirements: * Previous experience working within criminal justice or substance misuse services. * Sound knowledge of recovery models and harm reduction approaches. * Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills. * Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently. * Enhanced DBS required (must be in place or willing to obtain one).
