Job Description
Criminology Lecturer
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time social sciences lecturer, specialising in Criminology. This is a temporary role that has the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate. This is a full time role, for 35 hours per week, between 8:30 - 4:00PM. Payment for this position will be between £20 and £40 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
The college in based in Hull and has a strong reputation in the local area, with an excellent social sciences provision. You will be part of a strong team, dedicated to ensuring that students are making progress and performing well.
You will be responsible for teaching Criminology to Key Stage 5 students, specifically BTEC level 3. The ability to teach BTEC level 3 applied law is also desirable for this role.
Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Has a PGCE or similar teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Criminology to Key Stage 5 students.
Have experience working within schools in the UK
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
