Job Description

CRISIS INTERVENTION SUPPORT WORKER Prospero are recruiting experienced support workers to enhance the lives of the children & young people we support. About the job: This role is essential in supporting young people at a time of crisis. This role enables vulnerable children and young people to receive support at a time when is most needed. The role is flexible and can fit around your current commitments. Shifts are 12 hours Shifts available are days & waking nights What We Are Looking for From You: Due to the nature of the role, we require applicants to have prior experience in the health and social care sector to apply for this role. An empathetic and holistic approach to support children and young people in crisis The ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative Adhere to paperwork that has been implemented A passion to enhance the lives of the children and young people you support The ability to work well under pressure in situations that are challenging. To be willing or registered with Social Care Wales Benefits offered: Flexible working, allowing you to work to a schedule that suits you. Comprehensive free training including restraint training A competitive basic rate of pay that is enhanced on bank holidays starting at £14.50 p.h - £29.00 p.h Weekly pay Paid expenses & Travel Additional information: This post is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced checks, in line with our safer recruitment policy.
