Job Description

P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting a CSCS Cleaner to join their team based in Reading on a full-time, temporary basis.

We are on the lookout for CSCS Cleaners who will work on a construction site to help with general cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Perform regular cleaning duties across the site, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.

  * Collect and dispose of construction debris and rubbish in appropriate containers.

  * Maintain cleanliness of site offices, canteens, toilets, and welfare facilities.

  * Clean tools, equipment, and materials storage areas as needed.

  * Monitor and refill cleaning supplies and report low stock to the supervisor.

  * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.

  * Report any hazards or safety issues to site management immediately.

  * Assist with minor manual handling or support tasks as required.

  * Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.

  * Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any issues.

  * Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.

  * Report any maintenance or repair needs.

Requirements:

  * MUST hold a CSCS card.

  * Full PPE is required.

  * Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.

  * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  * Good attention to detail.

  * Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

  * Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

  * Basic understanding of health and safety rules.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri 08:00 - 16:00 (30 min break)
