Job Description
Position: Medical Imaging Technologist – Permanent
Location: Portland, Australia
Rate of pay: $55–$60/hr
What you need – Role requirements
80 hours per fortnight
• Rotating shift roster Monday - Friday
• Working in a team setting, ability to also work independently
• Shared on call 7 days per week from 5pm onwards, 10hr breaks provided
• Inpatient and outpatient work load (some booked and some walk in service)
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL:
• Current registration through the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) with AHPRA
• Bachelor of Medical Radiations Science or similar recognised by ASMIRT
• Radiation use licence from Victorian Department of Health.
EXPERIENCE and/or SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL:
• Demonstrate a broad range of knowledge, experience, and competency in all routine medical imaging examinations.
• Competency in the operation of a digital radiography (DR), 128 Slice CT, OPG/CBCT and DEXA.
DESIRABLE:
• Previous similar experience
• Experience in Mammography or willing to undertake the Certificate of Mammographic Practice
