Responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the curriculum including management of learning coaches, ensuring implementation and effective operation of end to end learner journey processes, curriculum design and innovation, learner progression and quality of provision.
Team Leadership & Management
* Line manage learning coaches, ensuring caseloads are in line with staff-to-learner ratios.
* Conduct monthly performance reviews focused on learner experience and outcomes.
* Instil a high-performance culture aligned with company values and behaviours.
* Deliver induction and provide ongoing CPD for learning coaches.
* Support recruitment and onboarding of delivery team members.
Curriculum & Delivery
* Develop and embed an innovative curriculum with schemes of work and resources.
* Embed English, maths, digital skills, Prevent, British Values, Safeguarding, and EDI across delivery.
* Plan and timetable off-the-job learning and classroom sessions.
* Ensure learners with additional needs receive appropriate support.
* Establish progression pathways to positive and sustained destinations.
Quality Assurance & Improvement
* Hold quarterly standardisation meetings to ensure consistency and share good practice.
* Undertake monthly work scrutiny covering planning, delivery, marking, and feedback.
* Liaise with awarding organisations to reflect changes in the curriculum.
* Create the annual self-assessment report with input from the team.
* Create and monitor the quality improvement plan to drive learner success.
Learner Retention & Outcomes
* Monitor retention closely and take action in line with strategy when learners are at risk.
* Ensure effective CIAG, initial assessment, and induction so learners are on the right programme and level.
* Coordinate assessments, exams, and EPA in line with awarding body requirements.
Compliance & Reporting
* Manage programmes in line with quality standards, funding rules, and financial regulations.
* Ensure timely submission of funding documents and keep unfunded learners below 5%.
Personal Specification
* Understanding apprenticeship delivery, funding guidance, data, staff performance, (Ideally Trade/Engineering/Automotive/Construction background)
* Hold or work towards Certificate in Education (level 4) or equivalent
* Vocational experience in one curriculum area of responsibility (L3)
* Knowledge and understanding of relevant quality assurance systems particularly the education inspection framework
* Experience of delivering multi site / national learning programmes Experience of creating and delivering high quality learning programmes
Salary is £32,750 plus car allowance of £4250 plus 25 p per mile.
26 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus birthday off, plus volunteering day increasing after 1 year, 3 years and 5 years
