Customer Account Executive
This is an unusually rare opportunity for a bright, confident and enthusiastic graduate or an individual with experience in a ‘cross’ or ‘upselling’ customer service. This lovely, family run business has grown rapidly over the last few years and so, wants to add to its existing team of Customer Account Executives to look after their customers.
Based at Sherburn in Elmet, this independent, award-winning company services large and small UK businesses with a wide range of products.
The role of Customer Service/Sales Advisor is to achieve and maintain their culture of friendly and excellent customer service to an existing client base, and, to generate up selling opportunities.
Your role as Customer Account Executive will involve the following:
· Responsibility for a portfolio of clients, ensuring that customers are contacted in line with the company’s call schedule.
· Actively taking sales orders whilst up-selling products to achieve team targets.
· Processing sales orders, ensuring that the transport department has the correct information for order picking in line with the company’s route schedules.
· Helping to build good customer relations & reporting on sales performance using in house systems to identify upwards & downwards sales trends.
· Working closely with your Manager & Business Development Managers to discuss product information, pricing and out of stock items to ensure customers receive possible alternative options on time for their delivery day.
· Responsibility for running daily Sage reporting to ensure all sales orders have been dispatched
· Working closely with key suppliers & helping to promote internal & supplier offers, such as money off deals and new product launches.
Salary: £27,500 (plus team bonus takes the salary up to £34,100K)
Hours: 8-4.30pm Monday to Friday
