You’ll be focused on driving customer satisfaction, ensuring issues and defects are resolved quickly and effectively, and upholding the highest standards of service across the business. Key Responsibilities * Manage and support Customer Care Maintenance Operatives, ensuring they have the tools, training, and coaching needed to deliver outstanding service. * Oversee remedial works and drive effective SLAs to resolve issues professionally and efficiently. * Monitor and control costs, ensuring sign-off and recording policies are followed while identifying contra-charging opportunities. * Diagnose complex defects, oversee remedial strategies, and manage works associated with formal complaints. * Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, supply chain partners, and internal teams to minimise issues and streamline processes. * Manage NHBC / Premier / LABC resolutions and claims, working closely with the wider Customer Care team. * Ensure health & safety compliance across all activities, promoting safe working practices at all times. What We’re Looking For * Proven track record managing customer care or maintenance teams, ideally in the housebuilding or construction sector. * Alternatively, experience within a high-performing customer care team with involvement in coaching, process improvement, or operational management. * Strong practical knowledge of construction, trades, or property maintenance. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-first mindset. * Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. * Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
