Customer Service Manager

Location: Loughborough
Salary: £38,000–£47,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently working with an established and highly regarded business in Loughborough who are looking to appoint an experienced Customer Service Manager to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service and problem-solving experience to take ownership of the day-to-day customer journey, working closely with the Head of Customer Service.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Customer Service, you will manage the day-to-day handling of customer queries and ensure issues are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  * Managing and monitoring the customer services inbox.

  * Responding to customer queries and ensuring issues are followed through to resolution.

  * Investigating and troubleshooting customer concerns.

  * Carrying out customer home visits where required.

  * Coordinating with relevant teams and contractors to resolve issues.

  * Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes.

  * Managing multiple queries and priorities effectively.

  * Identifying recurring issues and helping improve customer service processes.

  * Providing a consistently high level of customer care and communication.

About You

We're looking for someone who is confident, organised and comfortable taking ownership of customer issues from start to finish.

You'll ideally have:

  * Previous experience in a Customer Service Manager, Customer Care Manager or similar position.

  * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  * The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

  * A full UK driving licence.

  * Confidence dealing with customers both remotely and face-to-face.

Previous construction or housebuilding experience would be advantageous, but it isn't essential. We're also interested in candidates from other sectors who have strong customer service management and problem-solving experience.
