Well established logistics and transport business scaling rapidly. Seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead operations across pallet networks, dedicated transport, same-day delivery, and warehousing fulfilment.
The Role - Customer Service Manager
Lead the customer service team and own operational performance across multi-site logistics operations. Fast-paced, demanding environment requiring strong leadership and stakeholder management. Direct responsibility for key account relationships, SLA performance, and service delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop customer service team across logistics and transport operations
* Manage key account relationships and maintain SLA performance standards
* Handle customer escalations and resolve operational issues
* Monitor and improve KPIs, service metrics, and customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with Operations, Transport, and Commercial teams
* Drive process improvements across warehousing and fulfilment services
* Utilise WMS and TMS systems for performance tracking
* Identify commercial opportunities and contribute to business strategy
Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as Customer Service Manager, Team Leader, or Supervisor in logistics, transport, or supply chain
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Experience managing customer service operations in fast-paced logistics environment
* Hands-on knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transport management systems (TMS)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Track record of KPI management and performance improvement
* Experience with pallet networks, dedicated vehicles, or fulfilment operations advantageous
* Strong problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness
