Customer Service Advisor 

Salary: £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:30
Location: Portsmouth
 
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy site in Portsmouth on a temporary basis.

 This is a customer-focused role where you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing regular updates, answering queries and helping to ensure customers receive a smooth and professional service throughout the process.
 
The role would suit someone who enjoys dealing with people, is confident communicating face-to-face and over the phone, and is comfortable working in a busy environment where there are multiple priorities to manage.
 
Key Responsibilities  
Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the process 
Deal with customers face-to-face, over the phone and via email 
Provide regular updates and keep customers informed of progress 
Answer customer queries and resolve concerns professionally 
Manage customer expectations around timescales and appointments 
Book jobs and appointments into the relevant systems 
Follow up and chase outstanding information where required 
Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly 
Arrange vehicle collections and deliveries where required 
Coordinate courtesy vehicles for customers when necessary 
Assist with vehicle handovers and ensure customers receive a professional service 
Escalate any issues or complaints appropriately  About You We are looking for someone with strong customer service and communication skills who is confident dealing with customers face-to-face.
 You will ideally have experience in a customer-facing environment, such as customer service, reception, administration, automotive, hospitality, retail or a similar role.

 You should be:
  
Friendly, approachable and professional 
Confident communicating with customers 
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks 
Comfortable working in a busy environment 
Proactive when it comes to chasing and following up 
Able to remain calm when dealing with customer queries or concerns 
A good team player with a positive attitude  Temporary Role This is a temporary position, with an immediate start preferred. The assignment is expected to run until approximately the end of September, although the exact duration will depend on business requirements.
