Up to 32k DOE

Mid Kent

Monday to Friday 

Are you an organised and customer-focused professional looking for your next opportunity within a well-established business?

Our client, a successful organisation based in Mid Kent, is looking to appoint a Customer Service Representative to join their team.

This is a varied role where you’ll be responsible for supporting customers, maintaining accurate account information, handling enquiries and complaints, and helping to resolve any issues quickly and professionally.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, a positive approach to customer service and a willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Duties: 

Act as a first point of contact for customers, dealing with incoming calls and emails in a helpful and professional manner. 
	
Provide customers with clear updates on orders, production progress and delivery arrangements, ensuring any concerns are handled efficiently. 
	
Record customer queries, issues and complaints accurately, ensuring actions and outcomes are properly documented and followed through. 
	
Keep customer and account information up to date, ensuring relevant details can be accessed easily and used to support internal reporting. 
	
Deal responsibly with confidential customer, account and payment-related information, maintaining appropriate levels of discretion at all times. 
	
Work alongside senior colleagues to ensure customer communications are consistent, efficient and aligned with agreed service standards. 
	
Use company procedures and policies to resolve issues relating to returned items, damaged or incorrect products, delivery problems and delays. 
	
Escalate more complex or sensitive customer issues where appropriate, ensuring they are passed to the relevant person for resolution.

To be successful for this role you must have/be:

Naturally approachable and understanding, with a genuine focus on providing a positive customer experience. 
	
Well organised and thorough, with a strong eye for accuracy and detail. 
	
Able to handle difficult or sensitive situations calmly while maintaining a professional manner.
	
Comfortable working across computer-based systems to record customer interactions, update information and assist with reporting. 
	
Quick to pick up new software, processes and internal procedures
