Job Description

Customer Services Executive - Full time permanent  Location: Swavesey Salary: Up to £28,000 Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home Our client, an organisation within the manufacturing industry, is seeking a proactive Customer Services Executive to join their team. This role provides vital sales and administrative support to Sales Managers, working closely with customers to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth handling of new and existing business opportunities. You will be part of a small, supportive team responsible for managing customer accounts, handling enquiries, monitoring timelines, resolving issues, and ensuring orders are processed efficiently from initial request through to delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage daily communication with customers and Sales Managers, handling enquiries, stock requirements, forecasts, and order updates. Liaise with Production and internal departments to ensure orders, lead times, and despatch information are accurate and clearly communicated. Monitor aged stock and provide regular data reports for customers when required. Deliver a high standard of customer service, building strong relationships and resolving complaints quickly and professionally. Coordinate with Finance Shared Services to ensure customer accounts are up to date and any disputes are resolved efficiently.Essential Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to stay calm and professional under pressure. Confident negotiator, able to achieve positive outcomes with both customers and colleagues. SAP experience is essential – applicants without SAP experience will not be considered.
