Customer Support Representative

Location: Bristol, UK (Hybrid)

Salary: £12 – £15 per hour (£23,400 – £29,250 per annum equivalent, based on a 37.5-hour week)

Job Type: Full-Time (Hybrid)

About the Role

Vita CV is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a Bristol-based business looking to appoint a Customer Support Representative on a full-time, hybrid basis. This is suited to candidates with prior customer support experience who appreciate a balance of remote and in-office collaboration.

Role Overview

The Customer Support Representative will handle a broad range of customer enquiries, support internal teams with case resolution, and contribute to ongoing service improvements through team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries across email, phone, and chat

• Investigate and resolve customer issues with appropriate follow-up

• Collaborate with internal teams during in-office days to resolve complex cases

• Maintain accurate case records and CRM data after each interaction

• Identify trends in customer feedback and contribute to process improvements

• Support new team members through buddying and knowledge sharing

• Follow agreed service standards and response-time expectations

Candidate Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of experience in customer service or customer support

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Confident handling complex enquiries with empathy and clarity

• Comfortable using CRM platforms and standard support tools

• Ability to work both independently from home and collaboratively in the office

• Reliable, organised, and solutions-focused

• Able to attend the Bristol office for agreed hybrid working days

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Zendesk, HubSpot Service Hub, or Freshdesk

• Previous exposure to multi-channel customer support environments
