JOB TITLE
Customs and Supply Chain Coordinator
SUMMARY
Our client is currently recruiting for a Customs and Supply Chain Coordinator to work for a busy Business in Bolsover, Derbyshire. This would be a Permanent role and an opportunity to be part of an exciting team and grow existing skills. The role will oversee a smooth flow of raw materials, import-export transactions, and information throughout the supply chain from procurement of materials to delivery of finished products to customers, including export. A clear understanding of international trade and documentation is important for this role
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks to include, but not limited to:
• Coordinate imports and exports.
• Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
• Resolve supply chain and customs issues.
• Prepare and maintain International Trade documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Monitor shipment schedules and timelines to ensure prompt delivery of goods.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international trade laws and regulations.
• Keep abreast of changes in import-export laws and regulations.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• A solid understanding of international trade and document preparation.
• Strong organisational and critical thinking skills.
• International Trade Diploma (Preferred, but not mandatory)
• Ability to use Sage X3 software, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Elevated levels of diligence and accuracy.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 – dependent on experience
• Shift: Monday – Friday: hours to be confirmed at the interview level with the hiring manager
• Enhanced holiday
